terms & conditions

1. Tickets and Contractual Relationships

1.1 By purchasing a ticket, the ticket buyer and the organizer of Thriftpark (hereinafter referred to as “the organizer”) enter into a contractual relationship. By purchasing a ticket, the buyer agrees to these Terms & Conditions. Tickets for the festival are only available through the official ticket partner. These terms also apply to visitors who have received a ticket through a giveaway or are on the guest list. By entering the festival grounds, all visitors automatically accept these conditions. In this document, they are collectively referred to as “visitors.”

1.2 In addition to these Terms & Conditions, the general terms of the ticket partner apply when purchasing tickets through the official ticket website (vivenu). As tickets are purchased for an event on a fixed date, the 14-day withdrawal right under European consumer law does not apply.

1.3 Once a ticket order is successfully completed, payment is processed, and tickets are available, the buyer will receive a confirmation email with the ticket as a digital file. This email is sent to the email address provided during purchase. The buyer is responsible for correctly entering their email address. If the email is not received, it is recommended to check spam/junk folders or contact the festival’s ticket partner.

1.4 Reselling tickets for a higher price than the original ticket price is not permitted. Commercial resale is prohibited. Giveaways or lotteries involving tickets may only take place with the organizer’s written permission.

1.5 Editing, altering, or forging tickets is strictly prohibited.

1.6 Lost or damaged tickets will not be replaced, and access will not be granted.

1.7 Visitors with a valid disability card marked with “B” are allowed to bring one companion free of charge. This must be registered in advance via email ([email protected]).

2. Security Checks & Access

2.1 A valid ticket, either digital or printed, along with a valid ID, must be presented at the festival entrance. The ticket will be scanned and rendered invalid upon entry.

2.2 Each ticket grants single entry only. Leaving the festival grounds results in loss of access; re-entry is not possible.

2.3 Security personnel have the right to conduct clothing and bag checks. Visitors refusing these checks will be denied entry without a refund.

2.4 The organizer reserves the right to deny access to visitors wearing or carrying discriminatory, racist, homophobic, sexist, or otherwise offensive clothing, flags, stickers, or expressions. The same applies to dangerous objects. Security personnel will determine which items are prohibited. Signs at the entrance will clearly indicate which items are not allowed on festival grounds.

2.5 Prohibited items must be discarded or left outside the festival grounds.

2.6 Bringing professional recording equipment (see section 7) without permission will result in denied access. It can be permitted via mail ([email protected]).

2.7 The organizer is not responsible for supervising visitors who require assistance due to physical or mental conditions. Parents and guardians are responsible for minor visitors.

3. Cancellation, Interruption, Delays & Program Changes

3.1 If dangerous weather conditions or other external factors pose a risk to visitors, the festival may be temporarily interrupted, canceled, or rescheduled.

3.2 In the event of cancellation due to force majeure or government orders, no compensation will be provided unless the organizer has acted negligently. In such cases, the ticket price (excluding service fees) will be refunded upon presentation of the original ticket and proof of purchase.

3.3 The organizer reserves the right to relocate the festival to another date or location.

3.4 Delays of up to 2 hours do not entitle visitors to a refund.

3.5 Program changes will be communicated as soon as possible by the organizer.

3.6 The organizer may temporarily evacuate parts of the festival grounds for safety reasons. Visitors will not be entitled to compensation or ticket refunds in such cases.

4. Prohibited Conduct & House Rules

4.1 The organizer has the right to deny access to visitors and take action against unwanted behavior. Security personnel enforce these rules.

4.2 Commercial activities without prior authorization from the organizer are prohibited.

4.3 Acts of vandalism will always be reported to the police and result in immediate removal from the festival grounds. All costs arising from intentional damage to festival property, equipment, or facilities will be charged to the responsible individual(s).

5. Food & Beverages

5.1 Bringing outside food and drinks is not allowed.

5.2 A wide selection of food and beverages will be available on festival grounds.

6. Entry Rules for Minors

6.1 Thriftpark is accessible to individuals aged 12 and above.

6.2 Visitors aged 12 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older). One adult may accompany a maximum of three minors.

6.3 At the entrance, a valid ID is required to verify age. If a visitor is under 12 years old or does not comply with the accompanying rules, access will be denied without ticket refunds.

6.4 It is prohibited to provide or consume alcoholic beverages for visitors under 18. Bar staff may request ID when purchasing alcohol.

7. Photography, Video & Audio Recordings

7.1 Photography and video recording are allowed for personal use. Professional equipment without press accreditation is not permitted.

7.2 Unauthorized recordings, including audio or video recordings for commercial purposes without the organizer’s consent, are prohibited and may result in legal consequences.

7.3 By visiting Thriftpark you agree to be photographed (incl. video) which may be used for promotional efforts.

8. Liability

8.1 The organizer is only liable for damages caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence. The organizer is not responsible for damages caused by third parties, including other visitors, suppliers, or external parties.

9. Applicable Law & Final Provisions

9.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be settled by the competent court in the Netherlands.

9.2 If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
